Exploring the Reasons Behind Iranian TEFL Graduate Students’ Academic Failure

This cross-sectional study explored the reasons behind academic failure among Iranian students of teaching English as a foreign language. Interviews were used to collect data from 56 graduate (19 men and 37 women) three officials university. Results indicated that four main factors led students, namely, (1) student, (2) professor, (3) university, (4) source materials. Moreover, results chi-square tests no significant relationship existed between gender age their failure. Finally, number guidelines prevent in this context are presented.
